Over the past year, we have investigated regarding a complaint from an artist vendor about our exhibitor head for our 2024 annual meeting. Our organization, along with a third-party legal counsel, have concluded that the two parties were having a personal dispute on a private messaging platform outside of the convention planning eco-system, and the artist vendor went public with their dispute using our branding for a personal gain. In addition, our convention chair leadership received numerous complaints regarding the exhibitor head in which supports many of the complaints made such as conflicts of interest and other such activities. The exhibitor head is no longer with the organization, and the convention chair leadership has taken responsibility for the vendors hall this year to correct the issues.
Both parties have been notified that they may no longer continue to publicly discuss this situation. If any party publicly makes any additional statements (such as posting on social media), it will result in legal action.
