Remembering CJ Henderson

The DerpyCon family is saddened to learn that author C.J. Henderson has lost his battle with cancer.

CJ Henderson was the creator of Teddy London, the world’s first supernatural detective, as well as Piers Knight, Jack Hagee, and a wealth of other series leads. He has written some 70 books and/or novels, covering such diversity as The Encyclopedia of Science Fiction Movies, Black Sabbath: the Ozzy Osbourne Years, and Baby’s First Mythos. He has also written hundreds and hundreds of short stories and in the world of comics he has handled everyone from Betty & Veronica to the Batman. All in all, this bacon-loving, cigar-smoking, Monkey Shoulder Scotch (yes–that’s the real name) drinking crazyman is one of the most beloved storytellers of all time.

Please lift his family up in your prayers and if you are able please consider making a donation to help his family with the burden of his medical and funeral costs. Click here to to make a donation.
