All of us at DerpyCon are excited to announce a new chapter in our history. We are currently in the process of transferring our events (DerpyCon and Shenanicon) to a new, nonprofit organization, the Society of the Preservation of Pop Culture.
Run by the same team that has been bringing you DerpyCon for the last ten years, the Society of the Preservation of Pop Culture will continue to bring the same great experience that you know and love, and continue to expand to other ventures, including our new upcoming event, Shenanicon.
As we are still in the process of transitioning, registration will be paused until this transition is completed, which is tentatively scheduled for the beginning of May. This means:
· For DerpyCon, Registration will become available upon completion of our transition.
· For Shenanicon, Registration will first be open to those attendees that have booked a room and/or are presenting a panel, which will be available upon completion of our transition. Shortly thereafter, registration will become available to the general public; please note, this event is pre-registration only and capped at 450 paid attendees. We will not be accepting any further at-door registrations.
We have been continuing to plan our events even during our transition, with applications and hotel room booking available for Shenanicon and upcoming for DerpyCon.
All of us at DerpyCon, Shenanicon, and the Society of the Preservation of Pop Culture cannot wait to share this next chapter with you.
