The safety and wellbeing of all of our attendees, staff, and guests is our number one priority. We, alongside our venue, are working to ensure that everyone who attends or helps to make DerpyCon happen will work to keep everyone safe. DerpyCon encourages all who may not be feeling well at the time of the event to stay home and participate in our Online event!
Vaccination Requirements
All attendees, staff, guests, DerpyCon affiliates, and those participating in DerpyCon’s 2021 in-person event who are eligible for vaccinations will be required to present proof of vaccination in order to attend DerpyCon 2021 in person.
In order to receive your DerpyCon 2021 Badge, along with your ID, you will need to present one of the following:
- COVID-19 Vaccination Card or vaccine records with a final dosage on or before 10/13/2021.
- Proof of Negative COVID-19 test results dated no later than 10/17/2021
The name on the ID presented must match the Vaccination Card, NYS Excelsior Pass, NYC COVID Safe Pass, Docket, vaccination records, and/or negative test results.
Those currently not eligible for the vaccine will not be required to present proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test. Any parent/legal guardian planning to accompany any children under 13 must present proof of vaccination or negative COVID-19 test results.
Anyone failing to comply with the above vaccine requirements will not be permitted to attend our in-person event. This is to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our attendees, staff, guests, and other DerpyCon affiliates.
If you require an exemption from this policy due to pre-existing conditions, you will need to visit our Public Safety office. Reasonable accommodations will be carefully reviewed and determined on a case-by-case basis.
