Morristown, NJ (June 11, 2014) – DerpyCon is please to welcome Michael Hanson to DerpyCon 2014.
Michael H. Hanson graduated with a degree in film production from Syracuse University in 1989. As a Poet he has penned and published two anthologies of his work, AUTUMN BLUSH and JUBILANT WHISPERS, and is currently finalizing an illustrated collection of poems for children titled THE GREAT SOAP REBELLION. Michael also created (and is one of the writers in) the shared-world, urban-fantasy Sha’Daa Series which currently consists of “SHA’DAA: TALES OF THE APOCALYPSE,” “SHA’DAA: LAST CALL,” “SHA’DAA: PAWNS,” and the soon to be published “SHA’DAA: FACETS.” Michael has written and published over eighty short stories in the science fiction, horror, and fantasy genres over the past ten years. A transplanted New Yorker, he edits engineering society journals for a living, and spends his free time spinning both tales of the fantastic, and introspective poetry, in his small but cozy New Jersey garden apartment.
